How it works

Ironclad Verified helps you find a contractor you can actually trust the numbers on. Here is the whole process, start to finish.

Finding your contractor

• Search. Tell us what work you need and where you are.
• Compare. You see local pros ranked by the Ironclad Score, one honest number from 0 to 100 built from reviews on confirmed real jobs. Every review you read is tied to a job that actually happened.
• Pick one. Choose the contractor you want and send your request: your name, your phone number, and your email if you want to add it. It goes to that one contractor and nobody else.
• They contact you. The contractor you picked reaches out about your job. What happens next (the estimate, the schedule, the price) is between you and them.
• You never get stuck waiting. When you send a request you choose what happens if the contractor goes quiet: offer it to your next match automatically after a day, or just be told. Either way it stays one pro at a time (your request is never blasted to a list), and your request page always shows exactly where things stand, including a one-tap way to move on.
• Confirm and review. After the job, confirm it happened and leave a review. Your review becomes part of that contractor’s permanent record and helps the next homeowner choose well.

What makes this different

• No ads. Every ranking you see is earned. Nothing on this site is sponsored placement.
• Rank can never be bought. The Score formula has no money field in it. The method is published in full at How the Ironclad Score Works.
• Your number goes to one pro only. The contractor you picked. Your request is never fanned out to a list of companies that then fight over your phone. If that contractor declines or stays silent past a day, YOU decide whether it moves to your next match, still one pro at a time.
• Your information is never sold. Period. And you can withdraw your request anytime at the withdraw page, and contact stops.

One plain note: we publish each contractor’s record, and the record is real, but we do not check licenses or insurance. Ask the contractor directly about both before work begins.

If something goes wrong

Report it on the contractor’s page. A human reads every report, and our target for an initial response is 48 hours. Fraudulent reviews come down. Contractors who break the rules come off the marketplace. Honest negative reviews stay up, always.

What it costs you

Ironclad Verified is free for homeowners, forever. No account fees, no booking fees, no charge for sending a request. The whole point of this place is that trust is earned on the record, and the record is free to see. The full price list, both sides of it, is public.
